My most recent custom design was for my mom who blogs at Notes About Music Notes.

A little while ago when I asked if anyone would like to guest post my mom volunteered! Don’t I have the best mom ever! Not only is she a great mom she is also gifted piano player. She share her knowledge and love for music through blogging.

{Guest Post – Lesa @ Notes About Music Notes}

I’m lucky to be the Mom to Kendra who blogs and designs right here at Key Lime Digital Designs. She put out a request for guest posts and I jumped at the chance to share my love of blogging and good music.

I was first introduced to blogging by my daughter, Kendra. She had recently been married and came over one day saying that her sister-in-law had a blog. That was in the spring of 2008. Before that time, I had no idea what a blog was. When I first looked at some blogs I couldn’t understand why people would want to share all that information to the whole wide world. Slowly I kept reading blogs and actually found it interesting. I started a blog, but it was private. For quite a while it was private but then I ventured out and changed it to public. That was a scary leap for me. Just recently I felt like it was time for that blog to be private again. That is the wonderful thing about blogging, you can do what is best for you. Last year I started to have some ideas about starting a blog all about enjoying good music. I thought about it for a long time because I didn’t know how I would have enough content to post. The time came when I felt like it was a good thing to do. I started Notes about Music Notes in September 2010. I learned quickly that it wasn’t hard to write about something that you have a passion for. Music has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. Some of the things you will find on my blog are:

–Fun Musical Finds
–A funny organ story
–Piano and Organ Tips
-Yes! Kids should be involved with music

That is just a small example of things I post about on my music blog. Come over and read, follow, and comment. I’d love to have you visit my blog. I love blogging but blogging about good music is a plus!

Oh, and I forgot to mention I have piano lesson tips if you are thinking of having a child start piano lessons, if they need some motivation to keep going, and some all-around good piano lesson tips.

One more thing – it has been fun to recently start a blog with my daughter. You can read our letters back and forth from Hawaii to Utah and back on our new blog Mailbox Moments.

Blogging – not only have I learned so much about the internet, computer skills, people, and life…I’ve developed a great common interest with Kendra. Blogging has been a great thing for me.
